Sunreach / World Tree content is a second campaign. If your mid-game base still can’t print spheres and ingots, stabilize first. 1.0’s new region rewards prepared accounts and punishes curious underleveled tourism.
What 1.0 changes about the end of the map
The full release expands late-game space with a floating-island direction (Sunreach) and World Tree progression, alongside systems that stretch the level ceiling and long-term Pal investment. Practically, that means more reasons to breed, more reasons to keep upgrading workers, and less reason to “finish” the game after the last classic Tower.
Readiness checklist before you commit
- ☐ Comfortable combat clear speed in prior high-level biomes
- ☐ Mount/flight travel you trust
- ☐ Food production surplus (not break-even)
- ☐ Sphere income for new catches in the region
- ☐ Spare combat bench Pals if your main team wipes
- ☐ Storage space for new materials and captures
Expedition planning (don’t live in the new zone day one)
- Scout on a travel build; mark threats and resource density.
- Return home; craft the missing armor/weapon tier.
- Run targeted farms for the region’s gate materials.
- Establish either a temporary outpost or a clean commute loop.
- Only then start serious catching/breeding for local species.
Base strategy for 1.0 regions
| Option | Best when | Risk |
|---|---|---|
| Commute from main base | You still need old production lines daily | Travel time tax |
| Resource outpost | Local nodes are dense and unique | Split staffing attention |
| Full relocation | You truly outgrew the old biome | High rebuild cost; easy to regret |
Most solo players should outpost or commute before relocating the Palbox that runs their entire economy.
Combat expectations
Bring specialized parties. Generalist mid-game teams that cleared older towers may fold to denser late spawns. Food, element swaps, and recall discipline matter more as hitboxes and pack density rise.
Progression hooks to pair with the region
- Leveling toward the new cap
- Awakening & Mutation investments
- Breeding for keepers you will use for weeks
