Panthalus is a chase, not a side quest. Prep like a legendary catch: food, spheres, a flyer, then one clean attempt. If early Towers still wipe you, finish that curve first.
Before you hunt Panthalus
- ☐ Stable food + sphere production at base
- ☐ A fast mount/flyer for the approach
- ☐ Sphere tier appropriate for a tough catch (bring extras)
- ☐ Status tools / DPS that can lower HP safely
- ☐ Repair kits / cooked meals for wipe recovery
If your account still fails early Towers, finish that curve first. Panthalus will still be there.
Where to look (1.0 approach)
Panthalus is tied to late 1.0 exploration content—expect it in harder, later regions rather than the starter continents. Use your in-game Paldex / map markers / community spawn notes for the exact pin in your patch, then:
- Scout the area once without committing spheres.
- Clear nearby adds and plan an escape route.
- Set a sphere hotbar and food before the real pull.
Spawn details can shift with hotfixes. Trust what your client shows over any outdated screenshot.

- A bulk/flex Pal if the fight punishes glass cannons.

Exact elemental counters depend on Panthalus’s typing in your patch—open the target UI and build the counter, do not memorize an old Reddit comment.
After you catch it
- Decide its job: combat showcase, collection flex, or breeding material.
- If it is a keeper, only then plan passives / Mutation / Awakening spend.
- If it is “cool but temporary,” do not dump rare upgrades into it.
