Palworld 1.0 added seven new regions and a lot of map expansions. Finding the 72 new Pal species means knowing where to look — many spawn only in specific biomes, at certain times of day, or in weather conditions. This guide maps every new Pal to its location so you can fill your Paldex efficiently.

Heads up: Some of these areas are level 55+ with aggressive Pals. Bring a flying mount you can trust and enough spheres for the trip. Take the Beginner’s Guide first if you’re still building your base.

Sunreach Sky Islands (15 new Pals, Lv.45-55)

Sunreach is the largest new 1.0 area — a chain of floating islands accessible from the east coast once you can fly. Most of the high-value new Pals live here.

Farming Route Recommendation

Here’s the most efficient route to catch all 72 new Pals without unnecessary backtracking:

  1. Start: Grab the easy early ones — Cozyfox, Breezeba, Thornbark, Shellmander, Bubblefin, Boltbunny, Snowpuff, Sandspout, Shadowpup.
  2. Mid-game: Desert and Forest circuit — Tremorhide, Amperwolf, Fernprowler, Grovehorn, Dracoon, Luminite.
  3. Icewind Isle: Frostclaw, Chillhaze, Glacier, Hailhorn, Walrump, Glacio — one trip covers all.
  4. Sunreach (main push): Everything in the table above. Best done after Level 50.
  5. Feybreak: After Sunreach, fly west. Catch the wild spawns first, then tackle the Tower.
  6. World Tree: Endgame only. Come back after clearing the main story.
