Spawning Pattern
Hexolite Quartz nodes are blue-white crystals that grow on the surface of floating islands. They glow faintly, making them visible from a distance even in low light. Each node yields 2-5 Hexolite Quartz per harvest.

Tips for Hexolite Farming
- Use a max-durability pickaxe — the Metal Pickaxe breaks after about 15 nodes. Bring a backup or use the new Sunreach Pickaxe if you’ve unlocked it.
- Don’t fight the Pals. Most nodes are near aggressive Pal spawns. Mine and move — clearing them costs more time than it’s worth.
- Night is safer. Some Pals (like Blazekin) have reduced aggro range at night.
- Hexolite Quartz is weight-heavy. Each unit weighs 1.5 kg. A full haul of 50 quartz = 75 weight. Leave room in your inventory.
Soralite — Feybreak and World Tree Route
Spawning Pattern
Soralite spawns as purple crystalline clusters attached to rock faces and walls. They’re harder to spot than Hexolite and typically spawn in fewer locations per zone (3-4 per respawn cycle).

- Soralite is rarer and heavier. Each unit weighs 2.5 kg. Prioritize it over other loot when inventory is tight.

- Bring a flying mount with good cargo capacity. You’ll be carrying both Soralite and Hexolite in the same trip if you’re efficiency-farming.
What to Craft First
Don’t waste your early Hexolite and Soralite. Here’s the priority order:
Hexolite Quartz Priority
- Mutation Elixir (15 Hexolite) — unlocks the mutation system. This should be your first Hexolite purchase.
- Ultra Sphere (5 Hexolite per 10 spheres) — needed for catching level 45+ Pals.

FAQ
Can I farm Hexolite before reaching Sunreach?
No. Hexolite Quartz only spawns on the Sunreach Sky Islands. You must make the flight.
Do extractors work for Soralite or Hexolite?
No. They can only be mined from surface nodes. There are no extractors for either material.
Does the mining foreman buff affect these?
Yes. A Pal with Mining Foreman passive will increase yield by approximately 10-15%. It’s worth bringing one if you’re doing a dedicated farming run.
Do nodes respawn if I don’t mine them?
Yes, on the global respawn timer. But mined nodes have a separate timer, so if someone else on the server mines a node, it starts its cooldown regardless of whether you’ve mined it or not.
