Is Paladius Worth Using?

Endgame target

Legendary Neutral Pal with balanced combat stats — part of the iconic Paladius + Necromus boss duo in the desert.

Keep if

  • Useful base roles: Handiwork, Lumbering. Slot Paladius where those jobs are short-staffed.
  • Worth planning a catch or breeding chain once your base can support cakes and higher spheres.
  • Partner skill — Holy Aegis — Reduces damage taken while mounted and provides slow HP regeneration.

Skip if

  • Hard access — long breeding chains or tough alpha fights before it joins the roster.
  • Narrow job coverage — pair with other Pals if your base needs mining, kindling, or farming too.

Paladius is one half of the legendary desert boss duo. It spawns alongside Necromus in the central desert — you must fight both simultaneously. Paladius is a defensive Neutral Pal with solid survivability and decent attack.

Location

Paladius spawns at Anubis Arena in the central desert (coordinates 280, 120) together with Necromus. Both are level 45-50. They share an aggro table — attacking one aggros both. Tip: Focus down Necromus first — it deals more damage than Paladius.

Combo Bonus

When Paladius and Necromus are both on the field simultaneously, both gain a +15% DEF synergy bonus. This makes the duo significantly harder to kill together. Split them with a fast flying mount to break the synergy.

Breeding

Paladius + Necromus = Jetragon. This is the only way to breed Jetragon without catching it. See the Paladius breeding page.
