Jormuntide Ignis is the single best Kindling Pal in the game. With Lv.4 Kindling, it smelts and cooks faster than any other Pal. It is a mutation-only variant of Jormuntide — you must use the Mutation Elixir system to obtain it.
How to Get
- Unlock the mutation system (requires Player Level 45 + Sunreach access for Hexolite Quartz)
- Apply a Mutation Elixir to a Jormuntide breeding pair at the Monitoring Stand
- Jormuntide Ignis is one of the most common mutation outcomes from same-species Jormuntide pairs (approximately 5-8% per egg with optimal setup)

For furnace speed: prioritize Artisan, Serious, Work Slave, Lucky. A perfect Jormuntide Ignis with these passives will produce ingots 3x faster than a standard Lv.2 Kindling Pal.
Base Role
Assign Jormuntide Ignis to your furnace array. It will dramatically speed up Refined Ingot production, removing the smelting bottleneck and freeing you for exploration. Prioritize mutating this Pal as soon as you unlock the system.
